Started in 2005, UofAZIPS.com.com has become one of the more popular web sites for University of Akron sports fans looking for up-to-date news, sports discussion boards, and unique content such as podcasts. Traffic on our site is growing every day and our fresh new look is getting very positive feedback. We are consistently recognized for our unique and dynamic content, high quality of information and suitability for visitors of all ages. All of this has resulted in a site that is not only good for web surfers, but for advertisers as well.
What works well for advertisers? Web surfers are the same people reading the magazines and newspapers that you run your print ads in. If you goal is build name recognition, we can deliver these impressions for you. If your goal is increasing sales, we can get your ad in front of potential customers. We recommend that you follow the same guidelines that you have for your traditional media plans--make a special offer that people are interested in and display it on your attractively designed and energetic looking ad banner. Go for the click-throughs aggressively and give someone a real reason to see your site and what your offer is.
Since UofAZIPS.com is sports-related, our audience will generally follow the same demographic patterns for sports-related magazines and the sports page of various newspapers. Keep in mind that the Internet may produce a shift in some of these. If this is the demographic you are looking for, let us help bring them to your site. We do, however, reserve the right to approve your ad graphic before we display it on our site. Graphics of poor design quality that will detract from our site and graphics for services that are not acceptable to visitors of all ages will NOT be accepted.
Advertising Rates

We are open to experimenting with different forms of advertising. We suggest including text ads. These ads include direct links to your site without redirects and are very suitable for both advertising click-throughs and value-added linking to help enhance your page rank. The monthly cost for each text ad or simple banner ad start at $250.00 per month. Custom packages can be built and quoted.
Terms of Payment

Payment is due prior to the start of advertising start date.

A signed contract must be delivered two weeks before start date of advertising.

Reservations will not be held without a signed contract.
